One Man One Voice One Day
The 01 Machine is a project 20 years in the making. From humble beginnings with a 4 track cassette recorder in the bedroom thru to the digital age, The 01 Machine has grown.
The concept of a ‘one-man-band’ for the modern age: All music written, performed and recorded by 01 (L.J Stewart) in his home studio then uploaded onto the internet for the world to share. The website even designed and maintained by 01 and animated video clips are in the pipeline.
The debut album – The 01 Machine “<3” – released September 2009 has sold copies around the globe thanks to the internet and the various sites that distribute the music to the masses. The album explores the different levels of love, from the shy awkward first meeting thru to the heart wrenching break-up and everything in between both thorns and roses.
The second album released December 2012 is a concept album. The 01 Machine – “Ground Zero”. This focuses on a fictional world full of conspiracies where the people are controlled by the state and church. Thrust into a continuing war started by their forefathers. Is there anyone who can break the cycle and bring peace?
The third album in the wings, “Bounce”, is a mix of hard rock and electronic dance beats. Something for the Club scene. No release date as yet.
